Hi, I am Vincent Tan and I am very much into SEO, Internet Marketing and anything else that makes money! :)
It started at the age of 7 when I get my hands on my first computer Amiga 500. I guess all those blinking lights and graphics just amazes me to look into it deeper. Thats when I started learning programming at the age of 11. And gradually pulled into the Internet world around 1995 when I got online but it was just Gopher and Telnet. Played a lot with web designing and stuff around 15.. and then got my first interview by Jaring Internet Magazine right after completing my secondary school, before enrolling into college. The magazine interviewed me for a teens website which I developed. That is also when I got noticed and employed to do freelance web designing.

I still continue developing website on commercial basis while studying. Then right after I graduated with First Class honours in Computer Studies majoring in Software Engineering, my college decided to offer me a job as a lecturer. As there was no other better options and I could continue with my freelance web designing, I decided to go ahead with it. By the way, I was the youngest lecturer ever in the college, 21 years young ;) So I lectured for 9 months and then got promoted to be the Course Leader. After 2 years I decided to call it a day. Reason being that I was juggling between doing my Masters in Software Engineering, Course Leader in the College and managing my web development work. I was practically going to work 8am to 5pm, attend classes at 6pm to 9pm.. getting home around 10pm, shower, check email, coordinate my web development work with my designers and programmers, get to bed by 2am! .. *pheww* … And I had to meet clients on the weekend… well.. who says success comes easy? hehe .. but its rewarding.. i get to buy myself a beemer… just loving it.. hehe* anyway I decided to concentrate on my web development business by 23. Many people have told me that I am insane quitting a perfectly good paying job. But I guess that is what seperates me from the usual. How many willing to risk their safe and comfortable job to venture into something else which, if goes well will return you way more .. or if it doesn’t goes well will return you nothing! :) I always tell people, do not envy the rich, they took the risk and made it. So do something about it and not keep dreaming or planning.

The web development business was good. It was easy to acquire premium customers. But this venture came to an end after about a year. During the time I quite my job at the college was also the time I discovered Google Adsense. And as time goes by, revenue from my adsense business overtook my web development business. Thats where I decided that I no longer want to deal with customers which gives me nothing but outrageous requirements and impossible deadlines.

So now basically I am venturing into the area of generating revenue through Adsense, Affiliate Program, Internet Marketing and few other areas. Now I am ready to share my knowledge with everyone and I hope to MOVE, TOUCH and INSPIRE YOU!
